Overview

Orthopedic Occupational Therapist | Upper Extremity Focus | 45-Minute Appointments | Specialty Growth

Build your OT career in a clinic known for depth, collaboration, and thoughtful patient care.

If you are an Occupational Therapist who enjoys orthopedic care, upper-extremity rehab, clinical problem-solving, and helping patients return to the activities that matter most, Freedom Physical Therapy may be a strong fit.

At Freedom, therapists are given time to do meaningful work. Our 45-minute appointment model allows clinicians to get to know their patients, provide thoughtful treatment, educate well, and build the kind of therapeutic relationships that lead to better outcomes.

We are seeking a full-time Occupational Therapist to join our Fox Point team. This is a growth-focused opportunity within a highly experienced, long-tenured clinical team. The ideal candidate will enjoy outpatient orthopedics and feel comfortable treating the neck, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, and fingers. Hand therapy, splinting, neuro, or pelvic health experience would be a plus, but they are not required.

Why OTs Choose Freedom

Time With Patients

Freedom’s care model is designed to support high-quality, individualized treatment.

You will have:

  • 45-minute patient appointments
  • Time to evaluate thoughtfully and treat intentionally
  • Space to build strong patient relationships
  • A clinical environment focused on outcomes, not churn
  • Support from experienced clinicians across multiple specialties

Orthopedic and Upper-Extremity Focus

This role is ideal for an OT who enjoys outpatient orthopedic care and wants to grow in upper-extremity rehabilitation.

You may treat patients with:

  • Neck, shoulder, elbow, wrist, hand, and finger conditions
  • Post-surgical orthopedic needs
  • Tendon, nerve, and soft tissue injuries
  • Functional limitations affecting work, daily life, recreation, and independence
  • Splinting or orthotic needs
  • General musculoskeletal conditions

Prior hand therapy experience is welcomed, but not required. We are open to an OT who has the clinical foundation, curiosity, and motivation to continue developing in this area.

Specialty Growth and Mentorship

Freedom is known for helping clinicians develop meaningful clinical niches. Our team includes experienced PTs, OTs, and specialty-trained clinicians who collaborate across disciplines to provide comprehensive care.

Depending on your interests, you may have opportunities to learn from clinicians with experience in areas such as:

  • Orthopedics
  • Hand and upper-extremity rehabilitation
  • Women’s health and pelvic health
  • Men’s health
  • Vestibular care
  • TMJ and craniofacial care
  • Headache and migraine treatment
  • Chronic pain
  • Parkinson’s disease
  • Hypermobility and EDS
  • Osteoporosis
  • Sports rehabilitation

A Collaborative Team With Depth

At Freedom, patients often benefit from more than one clinician’s expertise. Our team collaborates across specialties to help patients move toward meaningful function, independence, and quality of life.

You will be joining a team that values:

  • Clinical excellence
  • Lifelong learning
  • Team collaboration
  • Patient-centered care
  • Respect
  • Integrity
  • Family values

Compensation and Benefits

Freedom offers competitive compensation, bonus opportunity, and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, voluntary coverage, continuing education support, and more.
